In 2016, we printed an HBR article headlined “Regardless of Dire Predictions, Salespeople Aren’t Going Away.” On the time, there had been a string of predictions that new applied sciences would lead corporations to chop again the scale of their gross sales forces, together with an alarming forecast that a million business-to-business (B2B) salespeople could be displaced from jobs by 2020. However we didn’t purchase it.
