Welcome to Device Tip Tuesday for Adobe Premiere Professional on ProVideo Coalition.
Adobe Premiere Professional has very helpful keyboard shortcuts for rapidly shifting between completely different panels within the interface. With the default keyboard shortcuts, for instance:
- Shift+1 will transfer to the Mission panel
- Shift+3 will transfer to the Timeline panel
- Shift 9 to the Audio Clip Mixer
However one panel that’s lacking a keyboard shortcut is the Manufacturing panel. For those who work in a Premiere Manufacturing, particularly considered one of dimension that has numerous completely different tasks making up the Manufacturing, you usually end up shifting again to that Manufacturing panel over and over. Fortunately, like many issues in Adobe Premiere Professional, there’s an unmapped keyboard shortcut to get you to the Manufacturing panel rapidly.
Open the keyboard shortcut editor and look below the Window menu or simply search Manufacturing within the search bar. You’ll see the Manufacturing shortcut, however it’s un-mapped. I would recommend mapping the Manufacturing panel to Shift+1 to the grave accent (`) / tilde (~) key as that places it simply to the left of the Mission shortcut. By doing although, you’ll lose your Maximize or Restore Lively Body shortcut … and when you don’t learn about that one, that’s one other instrument tip for an additional time.
As for the place I’ve mapped my Manufacturing panel?
Command + ~.
My keyboard mapping is manner completely different from the default. However this, I now marvel why have I by no means mapped something to the Cmd+F keys? That’s one thing that we’ll be doing subsequent.
