    The married CEO who was filmed at a Coldplay live performance within the US along with his arms round his firm’s HR head in a video that went viral has now resigned, the corporate Astronomer mentioned on Saturday.

    In a put up on Linkedin, the software program startup mentioned: “Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Administrators has accepted.”

    It added: “As acknowledged beforehand, Astronomer is dedicated to the values and tradition which have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are anticipated to set the usual in each conduct and accountability, and lately, that commonplace was not met.”

    The event comes after the agency mentioned on Friday that Byron and the corporate’s HR head, Kristin Cabot, had been positioned on go away, Axios reported.

    That they had been caught canoodling on the Jumbotron digital camera on the Coldplay live performance in Foxborough, Massachusetts, which is south-west of Boston.

    The incident took the web by storm.

    Byron has been the top of Astronomer since 2023. In 2024, Cabot joined the corporate as its head of HR. In an announcement about Cabot’s hiring, Byron mentioned: “Kristin’s distinctive management and deep experience in expertise administration, worker engagement and scaling folks methods might be vital as we proceed our speedy trajectory.”
