Swarovski is bringing its worldwide exhibition “Masters of Mild” to Los Angeles this fall.
The Austrian crystal home has been marking its one hundred and thirtieth anniversary with a touring showcase that underscores its cultural and business relevance, with stops in Vienna, Milan, Shanghai and Seoul. Hollywood is subsequent, kicking off with an invite-only occasion on Oct. 28, adopted by a seven-day public run beginning Oct. 29.
Conceptualized by Swarovski’s international artistic director Giovanna Engelbert and curated by British style journalist Alexander Fury, visitors are taken on a journey by the model’s evolution and improvements.
“Masters of Mild is our manner of celebrating 130 years of pleasure with the world. It’s a tribute to the artistry, savoir-faire, and pleasure that outline Swarovski,” Alexis Nasard, Swarovski’s chief government officer, advised WWD in a press release.
In L.A., the exhibition will discover Swarovski’s historical past in leisure, style, design and its long-standing ties to Hollywood as a participant in cinema and on the crimson carpet.
Swarovski has seen momentum this yr. In January, the model dropped its first assortment in partnership with Ariana Grande — who serves as a world model ambassador and face of the model — adopted by the disclosing of a design-forward collaboration with Rosenthal Idyllia at Milan Design Week in April. It then kicked off summer time with a high-profile takeover of Cracco Restaurant in Portofino final month.
