There have been options that Keir Starmer falsely steered that Rayner had accomplished nothing mistaken when the truth is he knew there was an issue.
On the Downing Avenue foyer briefing this morning the PM’s spokesperson didn’t settle for that. Starmer has been criticised for telling Radio 5 Reside on Monday that these briefing towards Rayner had been “mistaken”. However the spokesperson stated that, because the transcript confirmed, Starmer was making an “overarching level” about how she had seen off individuals who had briefed towards her prior to now.
