    A spokesperson for the Queensland Division of the Surroundings, Tourism, Science and Innovation (Detsi) on Sunday confirmed wildlife rangers responded to a report of a crocodile sighting made through the QWildlife app.

    “Wildlife rangers eliminated and rehomed a crocodile on October 18, following a report through the QWildlife app of the animal in a Port Douglas resort pool,” the spokesperson mentioned.

    “Crocodile warning indicators have been positioned within the space by wildlife officers.”
