    The Trump administration is reportedly planning a brand new government order focusing on chatbots which can be “woke,” a time period co-opted by conservatives to explain left-leaning viewpoints.

    The Wall Road Journal reviews that the order is available in response to what administration officers see as a “liberal bias” in some AI fashions, and would imply that AI firms getting federal contracts would should be “politically impartial and unbiased” of their fashions.

    Most of the largest US AI corporations have signed profitable authorities contracts. Earlier this month, the Chief Digital and Synthetic Intelligence Workplace (CDAO) awarded Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, and xAI with contracts price as much as $200 million “to speed up Division of Protection (DoD) adoption of superior AI capabilities to deal with crucial nationwide safety challenges.”
